Why Choose to Immigration to Canada?

Canada is one of the pioneers in offering citizenship opportunities to candidates from third-party countries. Its immigration programs are the most sought after by skilled workers looking for better opportunities beyond their home country. Every year Canada welcomes more than 200,000 new immigrants (the number is less currently due to Covid-19). Canada is a preferred destination because of its fantastic infrastructure, equal job opportunities, affordability, outstanding healthcare, excellent education system, accessibility,  and overall safety. The country has consistently ranked amongst the most liveable countries in the world. Canada’s large share of success belongs to its immigrants and pro-immigration policies.

The Express Entry Programme

Canada Express Entry is an online system formulated by the Canadian government for managing permanent residency (PR) applications. There are three major programs under the Express Entry,  Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class, and Provincial Nominee Program. It is a comprehensive point-based evaluation & ranking system which selects candidates based on their skill and merit.

Earlier, the candidates had to pay the visa fees with the application and submission of their documents. However, under the new and revised system, they have to pay their visa fees once they receive their Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the Canadian government.

Canada Express Entry Eligibility Requirements:
  • You must be eligible under one of the three programs mentioned above
  • You must meet the Language Proficiency requirements with results not less than two years old
  • Your education qualifications should be credible and evaluated by a recognized body(in the case of foreign education)
  • You shall possess skilled work experience in NOC 0, A, and B (12 months of full time i.e. 30hrs/week or equal part-time experience)
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

This program permits foreign workers who have already been to Canada and worked there for at least one year. This system is recognized by the Canadian government and is in place to assist the workers already in Canada seeking to be permanent residents. If an applicant is no longer in Canada, they can still apply under CEC, only if they apply within three years of leaving their job in Canada.

Federal Skilled Worker Programme (FSW)

This program is specially designed for foreign skilled workers seeking opportunities in Canada and is evaluated based on their work, education, language proficiency among many other factors. The Express Entry system is the backbone of their economy where they invite skilled workers and help them grow.
